Welcome To Class

We explore shapes, colors, letters, and numbers through interactive and engaging activities all year. Each day begins with name practice, storytelling, and fulfilling our classroom jobs. Children enjoy sensory exploration, dramatic play, hands-on art, science experiments, and outdoor play. Highlights of the year include exciting field trips and fun-filled class parties! With small class sizes, every student receives personalized attention tailored to their unique needs.

Class times are Tuesday-Thursday 8:30-11:00AM or 12:00-2:30PM

Registration Fee due at time of registration to secure your spot: $50 per student.

Monthly tuition: $120 Per Student Due at the first of each month.

Meet the Teacher

Ms. Rachael has been teaching preschool for nearly 10 years and has earned her Preschool Child Development Associates. She is CPR/First Aid Certified and follows all State Licensing Standards to provide the best, clean and save environment for your little ones to thrive. Preschool is her passion and she loves continuing to add to her play-based curriculum to make learning fun.

My goal is to offer fun, engaging and affordable education for your preschoolers. Let me help them thrive in an environment where they feel wanted and look forward to coming to!

About us

At Lil Platypus Preschool, we embrace a play-based learning approach that sparks curiosity and creativity. Instead of relying heavily on worksheets, we engage children in hands-on activities that go beyond simple tracing or gluing. Throughout the year, we focus on developing essential skills, like scissor use, through fun and imaginative exercises that build confidence and reduce frustration. Our nurturing environment also fosters emotional growth—we guide children in learning to regulate their emotions while providing a safe space to express and process their big feelings.

Rachael is an amazing and thoughtful preschool teacher whose work focuses on engaging children's creativity and thinking through hands-on exploration of ideas and topics.
